Glass cut to your exact sizes

“I popped in and within minutes I had my glass. Another company quoted 200% more.”

Maybe a window has misted up and you cannot see out of it properly. Maybe you need a piece of glass cut for a table, a shelf or a shower screen. Or a sealed unit has failed and you are not sure whether you really need a whole new window. Whatever it is, you want someone local who will be straight with you and get it done properly.

That is what we do.

The Problem

Too often, a small glass job turns into a big sell. You call about one misted window and end up being quoted for a whole new frame you do not need. Or you need a single pane cut and the bigger firms are not interested, or the price comes back at nearly double what it should be.

So the job gets put off. The window stays foggy, the cold keeps coming in, and something that should have been simple starts to feel like a hassle.

It does not have to be that way.

We are a local glass and glazing business, run by Adrian, and we deal with this every day. If a repair will do, we will tell you. If a piece of glass needs cutting, we will cut it to your exact sizes. No pressure, no salesman.

Why Bicester Glass

We are a local, independent glass and glazing business, run by Adrian, who has been glazing for over 40 years. The business has been trading in Bicester since 2004. Not a national chain, not a sales team. When you call, you deal with the person doing the work.

We take on the jobs a lot of firms turn away: the single pane, the odd shape, the mirror, the shelf, the misted unit that only needs the glass replacing. We supply it cut to your exact sizes and fit it, and because we would rather have a customer for life than a quick sale, we will always tell you the honest answer, even when it is the cheaper one.

We are members of the Guild of Master Craftsmen, CERTASS registered, and members of the Consumer Protection Association. But most of our customers come to us because someone they trust sent them our way.

Honest, upfront service

Every job is quoted in writing before we start, so there are no surprises. And if we do not think you need the work, we will tell you.

Common Questions

  • Can a misted double glazed window be repaired, or do I need a new window?

In most cases you only need the misted sealed unit replaced, not the whole window or frame. It is far cheaper. Each unit is made to measure, so there is a short lead time, we will give you a realistic date when we quote.

  • Do you cut glass to size?

Yes. Give us the measurements and we cut the glass to your exact sizes. We will let you know the timescale when you order.

  • Do you charge for a quote?

No. Quotes are free and given in writing before any work starts.

  • Are you a 24 hour emergency glazier?

We are a workshop based glazier, open Monday to Friday. We are not a 24 hour call-out service, but if you have a problem we will get to you as quickly as we can.

  • Do you cover my area?

We cover Bicester, the surrounding villages and across Oxfordshire, with work into Buckinghamshire and Northamptonshire. If you are not sure, just give us a call.

  • How much will it cost?

Every job is different, so we quote in writing before we start. You will always know the price before you commit.
